Having taught all year levels over my career, I am confident in my deep understanding of what works best in the classroom, including the implementation of synthetic phonics, science of reading and explicit instruction. Given my years of study and experience, I an confidently say I am highly adept in catering for the individual and varying needs to today's students, ensuring that differentiation is a must. Teaching style
With over two decades of teaching experience across all primary school year levels, my teaching style is grounded in evidence-based practices that prioritise student success. Drawing on my Master of Evidence-Based Practice and professional development in the Science of Learning, Science of Reading, and Explicit Instruction, I design resources that are clear, engaging, and research-informed. I believe in breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, providing scaffolded support, and fostering a love of learning in every student. My goal is to empower educators with tools that enhance understanding, boost confidence, and lead to meaningful progress in the classroom.
