The Learning Grapevine

This PowerPoint has been designed to be used on an interactive whiteboard. It explains to students what a portmanteau word is. Students will be challenged to use a list of words and blend them to create a portmanteau word, and then to look at a list of portmanteau words and figure out which two words were blended to create the word. Answers are included so that students can self-correct and discuss their answers with peers.
