These task cards focus on 3 digit subtraction with regrouping. There are 20 cards with horizontal subtraction problems. In addition, I have included a student response sheet with space to solve and an answer key.
For my "I got it" students, I posted the cards around my classroom and they rotated through to solve the problems. For my "strugglers" I used them in small group.
STEM challenge to go along with the book The Cat in the Hat. It is a very flexible STEM challenge that can be used as part of a science unit on simple machines unit or to go along with the book in language arts.
I use this center in my classroom to help students identify each of the properties of multiplication. The center includes headers for 5 multiplication properties - Zero Property, Identity Property, Commutative Property, Associative Property, and Distributive Property, 25 sorting cards - 5 for each property, an answer sheet, and an answer key. There are also blank cards to add your own information is needed.

This reading log is one of the many I created to help reinforce what is being taught in the classroom. This one focuses on finding the main idea and two details. In addition to completing the main idea and details, there are sections for students to write the amount of time the spent reading, the title of the book, and parent signature. There are sections for entries for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights so students would turn it in on Friday.
This game can be used in partners, small group, or whole groups. Students draw 2 cards - one part of speech and one letter of the alphabet. They will then have 1 minute to write as many words that begin with the letter that match the part of speech. It is a great way to see if students understand parts of speech.
