Experience

Hi, I’m Stacie Layne! With over a decade of experience in education, I specialize in creating engaging, standards-aligned resources that save teachers time and spark student curiosity. My classroom experience ranges from early elementary to middle school, and my passion lies in making learning accessible, creative, and fun for all learners. On my TpT store, you’ll find a mix of interactive lessons, classroom management tools, and hands-on activities designed to meet the real needs of busy educators. Every resource is classroom-tested and teacher-approved, created with heart and a deep understanding of what works. Thanks for stopping by—let’s make teaching a little easier and learning a lot more exciting!

Teaching style

My teaching style is all about creativity, connection, and keeping students at the heart of everything I do. I believe learning should be meaningful and memorable—so I strive to create lessons that are hands-on, engaging, and infused with a little bit of fun. I love blending structure with flexibility, giving students room to explore while still meeting learning goals. Whether it’s through interactive activities, real-world connections, or moments of laughter, I aim to create a classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. My resources reflect that same philosophy: practical, purposeful, and full of heart.

Awards & shining teacher moments

In 2014, I was honored as C.A. Gray Junior High’s Teacher of the Year, and in 2025, I was named Teacher of the Year at Thomas County Middle School. That same year, I was selected as a Georgia Department of Education Ambassador, where I worked with other passionate educators to support innovation and excellence in teaching.

Additional biographical information

When I’m not teaching or designing curriculum, you’ll probably find me reading a great book, exploring new technology tools for the classroom, or cheering on my students in whatever they’re doing. I believe in the power of meaningful relationships, high expectations, and a little bit of fun to create a classroom where students feel empowered and excited to learn.
