Fab Four Fact Family Practice
I used this when working with my third graders on fact families of multiplication and division... Which also works indirectly with the Commutative Property and missing values. :)
My classroom is centered around the "Fab Four" indirectly the Beatles... I use it as a reward system for students who learn their multiplication facts...

I am currently in my fourth year of teaching in a Title 1 school. :)
Teaching style
My teaching style is everything!! I try to integrate as many different styles of teaching as I can so that I can all of my different learning styles. In general, I try to be interactive and hands on so I guess I lean more towards being a constructivist. :)

I teach math to fourth graders in Bristol, TN. My favorite teaching quote is "Teaching is the toughest job you'll ever love." Teaching has many challenges, but I am grateful that I have been called to teach and make a difference in our future. It isn't always easy, but that's why websites like this one are so great, so that we can help each other!! :)
