About the store
I teach in Meridian, Idaho. This is my first year in the district. I taught in Nampa, Idaho 7 years, ran my own Reading Tutoring Business for 5 years in Sandpoint, Idaho. I 've taught grades 3-8 in Montana. Occasionally I will be selling items from the tutoring business related to reading. I also hope to post some of the writing and reading ideas I've created over the years. Most of my teaching experience has been in upper elementary 4-6.

Teaching style
I believe in lots of collaboration, professinal development, student ownership in their education. I see myself as a facilitator of their education and build up students so they are self-motivated.
My own education history
I started at University of Idaho and finished my B.S. degree in Omaha, Nebraska at University of Nebraska at Omaha in May 1986. Finished my master's in Curriculum and Instruction in December 2005 and completed all requirements for certification as a Reading Specialist K-12.
