Welcome to The Learning Support Studio
I’m an Australian educator with over 20 years’ experience working in classrooms, learning support, and school leadership. I’ve sat in countless meetings, written plans that never quite fit real classrooms, and worked alongside teachers who were doing their absolute best but were stretched thin by time, expectations, and systems that don’t always work for every learner.
I created The Learning Support Studio to support teachers without adding more to their already-full plates.
These resources are designed to help you:
- make meaningful learning adjustments
- support diverse and neurodivergent learners
- create inclusive classrooms using Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- respond to student needs without rewriting your programs or planning from scratch
Everything here is practical, flexible, and grounded in real classroom experience, not theory-heavy or worksheet-driven. You’ll find tools that help you adjust environment, instruction, and assessment, using clear language and simple frameworks you can apply straight away.
My approach is strengths-based, non-pathologising, and deeply respectful of both teachers and students. The focus is always on what’s getting in the way of learning and how we can remove those barriers together.
Whether you’re a classroom teacher, learning support teacher, early career educator, or casual teacher, these resources are here to help you support your students with confidence, clarity, and less overwhelm.
Because inclusive education shouldn’t mean more work, it should mean better support, done intentionally.
