About the store
I am an elementary school librarian and have been for 10 years! I love my job!! In college, I also studied art... So I'm using that knowledge to make custom clip art for teachers and librarians! :-) I also teach drama as part of my job as librarian! As of 2013, I have been teaching for 10 years... & I'm still excited to come to work!

Book Fair Wish List Math Activity for grades 3-5
A very simple library activity for your students during the book fair or the week before. I usually use it the week before and have them use the flyer that we hand out as a preview. Enjoy!
It's nothing fancy, but hopefully it will save you a little time and energy during your book fair!

Teaching style
I believe that learning should be fun, so I try to make it as fun as possible with my lesson plans. Coming to the library should be something students look forward to, not dread! Tying drama in with literature, makes it fun and meaningful to the library! I also love to create visuals that students can't take their eyes off of, so I'm constantly making my own clip art! :-)
Awards & shining teacher moments
Rewarded daily by the smiles on my students' faces, but no formal awards.... Yet! :-)
My own education history
I have a Bachelors degree in School Library Media k-12, A minor in Art and a Masters in elementary Teacher Leadership. All from Murray State University in Murray, KY. Planning on going back for a 2nd Masters degree very soon!
Additional biographical information
I'm a lover of animals and I volunteer in what little free time I have with our local humane society. I have two "pound puppies" of my own who are husky mixes. :-) I paint, read, paint, and read some more in my other free time. Who has free time, anyway? Where can I get some? lol
