Teaching style

I’m all about making learning meaningful, hands-on, and fun. My teaching blends creative exploration with routines and structure that help students thrive. I believe every learner should feel curious, capable, and included. Whether it’s setting up a hands-on experience, diving into inquiry, or tackling a big idea in a small group, I love finding ways to get students thinking, moving, and connecting.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership. I’m passionate about professional growth and have served as a Pro-D representative and co-chair, helping plan meaningful learning opportunities for staff. I’m always looking for new ways to engage students and support fellow educators.

Additional biographical information

When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me with a coffee in hand, a book nearby, or watching my kids at the rink. I love to travel, camp, and spend time at the beach, anything that gets me outside and unplugged for a bit. I enjoy creating resources that help other teachers feel supported, inspired, and ready to dive into something new.
