About the store
I started this store because I couldn't find the resources I truly wanted for my own classroom—materials that were both mathematically rigorous and aesthetically intentional. My classroom is built on a foundation of organization, consistency, and high expectations. I believe that when a learning space is visually organized and clear, students feel more confident to take the risks necessary for deep mathematical inquiry. My goal is to share resources I myself use to bridge the gap between complex standards and student-friendly visuals. With over seven years of experience in the classroom, my journey has spanned from US public schools to international schools across the globe. I have spent the majority of my career in the Middle School (Grades 6-8) math and science trenches, though my background includes elementary education and regular collaboration with high school teams. I have extensive experience implementing and adapting various frameworks, including: Common Core (CCSS) & NGSS IB-MYP (International Baccalaureate) IPC (International Primary Curriculum) This diverse background allows me to create resources that are flexible enough for different curricula while remaining focused on the core skills students need most.

Experience

Teaching style

I believe that math language should be clear, and expectations should be transparent. My teaching style centers on inquiry-based learning—giving students the tools to investigate "why" math works before diving into the "how." Because many students carry math-related stress, I prioritize building confidence through scaffolds, clear examples, and high-quality visuals. By normalizing mistakes and breaking down complex procedures, I help students move past anxiety and toward a genuine "math person" identity.

My own education history

My resources are informed by a deep commitment to ongoing professional growth and specialized pedagogy: Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Licensed PreK-12 Educator (Endorsements in Math, Science, and Elementary Education) British Dyslexia Association (OCN) Level 2 Certified: Specialized in Dyscalculia and Math Anxiety—this training directly informs how I design materials for neurodiverse learners. Google Certified Educator (Level 2): Leveraging tech to keep the classroom organized and efficient.

Additional biographical information

When I’m not in the classroom or designing new resources, you can usually find me staying active or recharging with a good book—usually a deep dive into fantasy or historical fiction. I’m also a big fan of puzzles and anything that involves a bit of logical problem-solving! Thank you for stopping by! If you have questions or want to see a specific resource in a different format, please feel free to reach out.
