About the store
Hi! My name is Fatima, and I’ve been teaching math for the past five years. I have experience working with both middle school and high school students—spending one year at the high school level and four years in middle school. My passion is helping students build confidence in math and making concepts clear, engaging, and accessible for all learners. I hold two master’s degrees—one in Mathematics and one in Instruction and Curriculum—and I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Instruction and Curriculum. I am halfway through my doctoral journey and plan to complete it by 2028. I’m a proud mom of two—my son is in third grade and my daughter is in sixth grade—so I truly understand the importance of creating resources that are both effective and student-friendly. Being both a teacher and a parent gives me a unique perspective when designing lessons and activities. I live in Jersey City, New Jersey, and at 32 years old, I continue to grow as an educator by finding creative ways to support students and make math meaningful. My goal is to provide resources that save teachers time while helping students succeed and feel confident in their abilities. Thank you for being here and supporting my work!

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on making math clear, engaging, and accessible for all students. I break down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step strategies and use real-world examples, visuals, and interactive activities to support understanding. I believe in building student confidence, encouraging critical thinking, and creating a positive learning environment where mistakes are part of the process. My goal is to meet students where they are and help them grow into independent, confident problem-solvers.

My own education history

I have a strong academic background in both mathematics and education. I earned my first master’s degree in Mathematics, which deepened my content knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts. I then pursued a second master’s degree in Instruction and Curriculum to strengthen my teaching practices and better support student learning. Currently, I am working toward my doctorate in Instruction and Curriculum and am halfway through the program. I plan to complete my doctoral degree by 2028, continuing my commitment to growth as an educator and lifelong learner.
