This is my thirteenth year teaching at the high school level. I taught sixth grade for one year, then moved on to our district high school to teach and coach soccer. Experience
This is my thirteenth year teaching at the high school level. I taught sixth grade for one year, then moved on to our district high school to teach and coach soccer. I have primarily taught Algebra and Geometry every year and have a TON of material that I am updating, revising, and creating. I thought that I should share.
Teaching style
I really want the students to be able to problem solve and think critically, but I know that they need a good math foundation. So, I try to vary between "traditional" and student centered ~ focusing more now on student exploration and discovery.
My own education history
I have my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and my Mathematics Education degree with a middle school endorsement.
