This material includes cards simply defining the four operations in mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and is used in Montessori upper elementary classrooms for lessons and follow-up work. It includes nomenclature cards for the parts of the problems of the four operations, also simply defined. A simple test with key is included.
Children match up Latin words with English words using clue sentences with English derivatives to help. Children are very engaged by this activity and love to learn Latin.
This material is a collection of cards with a simple moral scenario printed on each card. It asks the child "what would you do?" and is suitable for use as writing prompts or for group discussion. These scenarios are designed to get children to think about kindness and empathy.
