This is a handmade workbook for use by students transitioning from print to cursive handwriting. An independent child can finish the workbook without too much adult guidance, just the occasional check to be sure the letters are formed correctly at the introduction of each new letter. This was a proven winner.

This spelling curriculum is part of a series for fourth through sixth grade Montessori students. Its intention is to increase the child's phonemic awareness. Instead of weekly word lists, this method uses a real-world passage that children then analyze for its component graphemes.
