Vocabulary can sometimes be tricky. With these Science 21 Grade 5 Unit 2 "Big Words" posters, students can associate complex definitions with visual clues. This is particularly helpful with ELLs! As an added bonus to this resource, there are some vocabulary activities! They are designed to be pasted into notebooks, or printed on a half sheet of paper for formative/summative assessments!

Based on Bloom's taxonomy, this fiction book report takes a fresh look at a typical book report. Students complete a variety of questions to total 8 points. Higher level thinking questions count for more points than recall questions, thus students would need to complete less of them. The book report offers fun activities like comic strips, advertisements, writing letters and creating new endings. This can be used in upper elementary grades, but can easily be altered for lower elementary as well
