About the store

Experience

I’ve been a dedicated educator for over 12 years, with the majority of my career focused on early years education. Originally trained in the UK, I’ve spent the past several years teaching in Dubai, where I continue to bring play-based learning to life in diverse, multicultural classrooms. I’m also a qualified and experienced SENCo, with a deep commitment to inclusive practices and supporting children of all abilities.

Teaching style

My teaching style is grounded in curiosity, creativity, and connection. I believe in the power of messy play, sensory exploration, and seasonal activities to create magical moments of learning. I aim to spark imagination while supporting foundational skills, blending structured routines with open-ended experiences that meet young learners right where they are.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring both new and experienced educators, offering training and support to teaching assistants and colleagues. My proudest moments come from seeing children thrive in environments I’ve helped shape, whether through sensory-rich setups, outdoor adventures, or quiet classroom breakthroughs. I’ve been recognized for fostering inclusive, joyful, and developmentally appropriate classrooms that balance fun with purpose.

My own education history

I hold a UK-based teaching qualification with additional accreditation in Special Educational Needs Coordination (SENCo) and Play Therapy. My professional development has also included early childhood curriculum leadership and inclusive education training, enabling me to support children, families, and fellow educators holistically.

Additional biographical information

Originally from the UK and now living in Dubai, I’m passionate about giving children the best start to their educational journey through joyful, play-led learning. Whether I’m knee-deep in mud kitchen activities or designing printables to make teachers’ lives easier, my goal is always the same: to nurture confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
