I have 25 years of teaching experience.
Teaching style
I enjoy using hands-on learning with unit studies and interactive notebooks/lapbooks. I think it's important for students to use content-rich materials to complete research-type activities to create memorable keepsakes. This is why I love interactive notebooks and notebooking pages!
Additional biographical information
My husband, Allen, and I have six grown kids - three boys and three girls. We've been married for 35 years and have lived on the same 20 acres for the past 23 years. We have an orchard, where we grow several different varieties of dates and lots of other fruit trees. Besides raising children, we have also raised chickens, goats, tilapia, pigs and a bunch of other fun farm animals. We are hard-core homesteaders! We love being self-sufficient.
