About the store
Hi! I’m a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of experience teaching food and nutrition education to kids of all ages. Through my years of work, I’ve seen how food can open the door to curiosity, conversation, and meaningful learning. Food is something we all share. It connects us to our families, cultures, and communities. I created The Nourished Classroom to help make food education easy to integrate into everyday learning. Designed with both the classroom and cafeteria in mind, my hope is that you find these resources helpful in supporting teachers as they explore food with students through learning activities, and cafeteria staff as they promote and support school meals through tasting experiences, visuals, and other displays.
