About the store
Welcome to the Number Path, where you will find activities based on the common core math standard you are teaching. Math learning is sequential and as teachers we have the power to make sure that our students have the skills which will help them to follow a path to success. I have a passion for teaching math to each student through the use of games and fun activities. As a Former New York State public elementary school teacher and math interventionist I have created games, worksheets, and PowerPoints based on the standards for each grade level, focusing on the skills which will lead to future success. These activities can be used as a supplement to any curriculum or as a stand alone math curriculum.

Experience

Welcome to the Number Path, where you will find activities based on the common core math standard you are teaching. Math learning is sequential and as teachers we have the power to make sure that our students have the skills which will help them to follow a path to success. I have a passion for teaching math to each student through the use of games and fun activities. As a Former New York State public elementary school teacher and math interventionist I have created games, worksheets, and PowerPoints based on the standards for each grade level, focusing on the skills which will lead to future success. Teaching style

As a classroom teacher, I often found the math curriculum to be boring and/or confusing for students, parents, and often my fellow teachers as well. Some curriculums that have very good aspects were not very teacher and student friendly. I believe that children need systematic, hands on learning which they find fun and interesting. As a math interventionist I began making my own presentations and games, along with whole group, small group, and independent practice activities that aligned with the priority standards for each grade level.
