Rhyming Words Sort

I use these cards during my unit for RL.2.4 Words, Phrases, & Rhythm. I have partners complete this sort as we address rhyming word in poetry. I have some multi-syllabic and longer rhyming words (i.e. harder that "cat" and "bat") in this sort to make the schemes more appropriate for 2nd graders. There are 30 pairs of rhyming words and the cards come in two fonts: GLSaltandVinegarChips and HelloTeacher.

I still like to keep physical records of the grades I take in class. I print out copies of this template, hole punch, and keep in a three-pronged folders. I created this template because it gave me room to write the assignment name and the major standard addressed by that assignment. I also can put quick abbreviations about the type of assignment it was and make notes about the point value and date given.
