I use these cards during my unit for RL.2.4 Words, Phrases, & Rhythm. I have partners complete this sort as we address rhyming word in poetry. I have some multi-syllabic and longer rhyming words (i.e. harder that "cat" and "bat") in this sort to make the schemes more appropriate for 2nd graders. There are 30 pairs of rhyming words and the cards come in two fonts: GLSaltandVinegarChips and HelloTeacher.

I still like to keep physical records of the grades I take in class. I print out copies of this template, hole punch, and keep in a three-pronged folders. I created this template because it gave me room to write the assignment name and the major standard addressed by that assignment. I also can put quick abbreviations about the type of assignment it was and make notes about the point value and date given. I have a 3-tier Mobile Maker Space in my classroom (I purchased the cart from Target for $30). My students always struggle with writing and reading numbers in word form and frankly most math programs don't spend enough time on it. I have a space theme in my classroom and I use these signs to hang above the 6 tables I have in my room. The teams are: Astronaut, Galaxy, Planet, Sun, Moon, and Star. I always place my students in table groups of 4. I printed multiple copies on card stock and laminated each square. Each student has this on their desk to help with Kagan Cooperative Learning Groupings. It makes table jobs and partner discussions a snap. Emoji Cards for all kinds of uses! I print this sheet on cardstock and fold the faces over a Popsicle stick, then super or hot glue. I've used them for all kinds of activities to show agree/disagree, correct/incorrect, etc. My students love it and it makes formative assessing during an activity a snap!

I've used these cards during my unit on contractions. I place students in groups of 4 and have them play the memory game. The object is to match the correct base words with the contraction. Font used: HelloBasic.

I've used this quiz to conclude my unit on contractions. The quiz includes three parts: creating a contraction from base words, breaking a contraction into base words, and using a contraction in a sentence. Font used: HelloTeacher.

This is a great visual incentive for your classroom management. Just cut out the brownies in your desired size (two options available) and use velcro stickers on the baking sheet pages (two size options available). These are daily schedule labels. They are black with stars and I used HelloBigSky font. In the past, I've cut them out and displayed them using adhesive magnet tape on my whiteboard, using Velcro stickers on my wall, or they fit great into a pocket chart. I use these minute markers in my classroom to help kiddos still learning how to tell time on an analog clock. The minutes are star shaped and the color scheme is purple, blue, and pink like a galaxy. The font is HelloBigSky. I cut out the stars and used sticky velcro to place them around my classroom clock.
