I am an educational leader with 30 years of experience serving children, families, educators, and communities. My professional journey has included leadership, curriculum development, behavioral health, early childhood education, professional learning, and educational consulting.
I hold a Master of Education in Professional School Counseling and a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Effective Teaching and Instructional Leadership. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) through Northcentral University.

* Statewide Behavioral Health Specialist for Iowa Child Care Resource & Referral
* Child Care Center Director
* Academic Manager, Principal, and Disability Coordinator at Denison Job Corps, overseeing programs serving approximately 270 students
* Education and Disabilities Coordinator for New Opportunities Head Start, supporting 21 classrooms and leading professional development, disability services, curriculum implementation, and staff administration
I have developed multiple curricula and served as an educational consultant, including work with Franchise Capacity Builder LLC. in Cairo, Egypt.
My commitment to educational leadership extends beyond my professional roles. I served five years as a Gubernatorial Appointee to the Early Childhood Iowa State Board and as a member of the Iowa Association for the Education of Young Children (IAAEYC)State Board.
Nationally, I was selected as a U.S. Department of Education Peer Reviewer for the Race to the Top Education Grants and later served as a Master Education Specialist for Pearson, providing professional development and technical assistance to schools and educators.
