Teaching style
My teaching style is play-based, skill-focused, and student-centered. I believe children learn best through engaging, hands-on activities that feel motivating rather than overwhelming. My resources emphasize clear visuals, structured support, and flexible use so they can be easily adapted for whole-group instruction, small groups, intervention, or independent practice.
Awards & shining teacher moments
One of my proudest accomplishments is seeing students gain confidence and independence through the use of simple, well-designed supports. Whether it’s a child improving handwriting legibility, increasing task endurance, or mastering fine motor skills, these moments reinforce my passion for creating tools that truly support student success.
My own education history
I hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from West Virginia University and maintain active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in multiple states. I regularly engage in continuing education to stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy, fine motor development, and school-based intervention.

When I’m not working with students or creating resources, I enjoy designing new activity ideas, sharing OT tips online, and finding ways to make therapy skills accessible for both educators and families. My goal is to support teachers and therapists with resources that save time, reduce stress, and help students thrive.
