This is game to help teach word families and blending. To play each student takes a ladybug mat, which contains the rimes, and then rolls a letter die to supply the onset. Then the child must blend the onset with different rimes until they find a real word. Once the student has read the word, they color that spot and can write the word on the answer sheet provided. First to cover all their spots wins!
