The Pre-K Cafe is a team of two educators who LOVE teaching, sharing, creating, talking and KIDS! Brittney has a fresh outlook on the profession and loves to think outside the confines of curriculum. She is AMAZING with applying CCLS and state expectations when creating hands on activities. Chris brings years of experience in Kindergarten and Pre-K and loves to talk through how kids learn and process information while engaged in meaningful, play-based activities. Both of us love to interpret data on our kids, whether observational, informal, or formal, and use it to think about the next steps.

Experience
The Pre-K Cafe is a team of two educators who LOVE teaching, sharing, creating, talking and KIDS! Brittney has a fresh outlook on the profession and loves to think outside the confines of curriculum. Teaching style
We both believe in all types of instructional methods. It's important to look at each year's kiddos and determine what works best for them! We both believe in taking kids from where they are and moving them forward, while considering best practices and what those little learners need! We utilize whole group, small group and individual 1:1 instruction. We believe in involving parents/caretakers and we believe in close communication. We love our families!
Additional biographical information
This store is a dream come true! We love to create and share. Teaching is the best when we learn from each other and respect that not every teacher will take the same pathway to get to the end goals... and that is okay! Our strength is in our ability to work together and respect differences! We hope you come back and visit our store.
