Teaching style

I started my teaching career in France in the summer of 2000 immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Education at Queen's University. I taught at a prestigious private school in Paris and then worked at a small private school located in Tours, France in the Loire Valley for 2 years. After moving back home to Canada, I taught French Immersion Kindergarten and have been teaching K-3 ever since. I'm currently a supply teacher eagerly awaiting a classroom to love on again.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was chosen to be on the cover of a French Catholic Teaching Magazine reading "Where The Wild Things Are" with some of my sweet Kindies at the time. It was the first picture book I bought before moving over to France and I still have it.

My own education history

I have my Bachelor of Arts in French and History. I did my third year of University in Nantes, France at the Faculté de Lettres. My Bachelor of Education is from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. I have my Special Education Part 1 and my Reading Specialist.

Additional biographical information

My goal is to make my students want to come to school because it's a safe, fun, happy, nurturing and amazing place to be.
