About the store
With over a decade of experience in education, I have learned that the Problem with Learning is that misconceptions are endless, all students learn at their own pace and in different ways, and students lack the confidence to fail and learn from their mistakes. I have taught and developed curriculum across core subjects for grades 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9, specializing in creating materials that make challenging concepts easier to understand. My background combines classroom experience with a strong foundation in data-driven instruction, helping students grow year after year. The resources I share here are built from real classroom successes and refined to save teachers time while maximizing student engagement.

Multiple Monkey Support

Monkeys that include dots for students to touch while counting for multiples of numbers 1-12. It can be used as flashcards for younger students, but I used it with a blank multiplication chart. Students who still struggled with their math facts would go to the needed numbered monkey to use the dots for counting multiples. It was a great support tool for my EBs, and ELLs.

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex skills into manageable, meaningful steps that students can master with confidence. I believe in creating lessons that are interactive, relatable, and adaptable to a variety of learning needs. Each resource reflects a balance of rigor and creativity- encouraging critical thinking while keeping students actively involved through discussion, visuals, and hands-on practice.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Throughout my career, I've been recognized for exceptional student growth and innovative classroom strategies, including a 35% increase in test scores over four consecutive years. Some of my proudest moments come from watching struggling learners have their "lightbulb" moments and celebrating their progress as a class. My campus administrators, district, and city have recognized my knowledge and achievements with awards. I was Teacher of the Month for Arlington Independent School District during my third year of teaching, and the following year Teacher of the Year for my campus and AWARE (Arlington Will Award and Recognized educational Excellence) nominee. From leading campus-wide departments and initiatives to mentoring new teachers, these experiences inspire the resources I create- designed to bring those same shining moments to your classroom.
