About the store
I have over 10 years of experience in youth programs, including 6 years in a leadership role as Director of a nonprofit serving children through after-school care, summer camps, and preschool programs. In my role, I design and oversee programming for a wide range of ages, creating engaging, structured experiences that balance enrichment, creativity, and social development. I plan weekly themes, coordinate activities across art, STEM, and physical play, and develop systems that help staff implement programs smoothly and confidently. I also manage program operations, including staff oversight, HR processes, and licensing requirements, ensuring programs run safely and effectively while remaining compliant with regulations. I understand the realities of running programs with limited time, mixed age groups, and varying needs. The resources I create are built from real experience and designed to be practical, flexible, and easy to use, so you can spend less time planning and more time focusing on your students.

Teaching style

My approach to programming is rooted in structure, flexibility, and real-world engagement. I believe the best programs balance clear systems with opportunities for creativity, exploration, and student choice. I design experiences that are hands-on and accessible to a wide range of ages and abilities, with an emphasis on collaboration, problem-solving, and social development. Activities are intentionally planned to be engaging without requiring extensive prep, making them realistic for busy program environments. I also prioritize consistency and clarity for staff, creating resources that are easy to follow, adaptable, and supportive of smooth program flow. My goal is to help programs feel organized, engaging, and sustainable, for both the students and the adults running them.

Additional biographical information

I’m passionate about creating programs that truly work for both kids and the adults running them. After years of working in fast-paced afterschool and camp environments, I know how important it is to have resources that are not only engaging but also realistic and easy to implement. As a mom of three, including one child with autism and one with ADHD, I bring both professional and personal insight into the importance of flexibility, structure, and meeting children where they are. I value creating environments that support a wide range of needs while still being manageable for staff.
