This is a great introductory powerpoint that covers the four main types of governments. Government types covered are: Dictatorship, Oligarchy, Direct Democracy, and Representative Democracy. Each type of government is broken down into two columns discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each.

This is a test designed to test students on the multiplication strategies of the distributive property, communitive, and associative properties of multiplication. Also covered on this test is estimation with mulitplication utilizing rounding. Good for use with advanced fourth graders, fifth grade, and a review for sixth graders depending on state curriculum. It is catered to 5th grade, however could be used as a review at the beginning of 6th grade or for advanced 4th graders. This is according to NC standards, so grades may be slightly different depending on your state standards. Includes a key.

This is a great power point presentation used to introduce how to plot ordered pairs on a graph. Show it directly on a white board as one of the slides is interactive and you will have to show how to plot on the provided graph as an example. The last slide is for the day's work so that you can put the students' assignments in to leave up for all of math time. Some notes for the teacher are included in the notes box for discussion during the lesson.

This is a great powerpoint to utilize when introducing or reviewing how laws are created in the United States. Presented in a fun, comic strip style that draws the attention and interest of students.

This is a great set of basic slides for use in Kindergarten or even at the beginning of first grade as a review. Each slide deals with the vowel sounds and rhyming. I have also included notes at the bottom of each slide on how you can use them in your classroom.
