About the store
I've been in education since I was a sixth grader volunteering at my old pre-school. I worked at that same pre-school for nine years while I went to high school and later college to get my degree in elementary education. I did my student teaching in a first grade classroom and taught creative writing to sixth grade after school. I recently got hired in 2013 as a elementary teacher, my first year I taught second grade and now I am a kindergarten teacher.

This product includes counting bears addition cards to use in a math center. Students can use cards to practice representing addition problems with counting bears.
The cards are labeled with different colored bears: red bear (approaching level--sums up to 5 with pictures), blue bear (on-level--sums up to 10 with numerals), and green cards (beyond--sums up to 15 with numerals).

Experience

Teaching style
Working with early learners has really made me see the importance of breaking things down and keeping my students moving. I've been doing a lot of reading this summer on Whole Brain Teaching as well as Daily 5. I am currently trying to do mix of both along with following our state provided curriculum.

I was born and raised in Hawaii. I have a bachelor's degree in English along with a certificate and license in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a masters degree.
