Indigenous Knowledge Systems - Group discussion and research activities (IB TOK)
This is approximately a 2 hour research project for the IKS Area of Knowledge for the TOK course for the IB Diploma. Students should work in groups to complete the activities in the first two activity sheets, using the mind map template to help structure their arguments. They should then individually complete the personal reflection activity. In the activity, it refers to the students ‘given country’, it’s really up to you how you want to assign countries. It can be the country the school is in

I have taught physics and general science at high school level for over 10 years now. I have also taught some maths and some electronics.
Teaching style
Student centered. I believe that it is essential for students to be able to play with physics, so a lot of my teaching resources are fun and practical based.

My own education history
Studied all over the world in elementary school. Was lucky enough to experience schools in the States, Japan and China. I can back to the UK to study in high school, and I went to university to study physics in England as well.
