Adaptations and Environment - Student Research Activity
Research activity for middle school students students. Students research about the adaptations of the plants and animals of the Namib Desert. The activity requires students to research, and then present their findings in a poster. Included is a writing frame to help students structure their research. Students can use a QR scanner on their phone (QR apps are free to download for Android and iPhone), and it will take them to pages with information. Included is the original PowerPoint that you can

Experience
I have taught physics and general science at high school level for over 10 years now. I have also taught some maths and some electronics.
Teaching style
Student centered. I believe that it is essential for students to be able to play with physics, so a lot of my teaching resources are fun and practical based.

My own education history
Studied all over the world in elementary school. Was lucky enough to experience schools in the States, Japan and China. I can back to the UK to study in high school, and I went to university to study physics in England as well.
