Experience

With more than 20 years of experience teaching English Language Arts in middle and high school classrooms, I have worked with students across the learning spectrum—from honors and gifted learners to those who need extra support with reading and writing. The resources I create are classroom-tested and designed to help teachers deliver engaging, meaningful ELA instruction while supporting diverse learners.

Teaching style

In my classroom, ELA isn't just about old books, it’s about empowerment. My resources focus on critical thinking, media literacy, and mastering the 'power of the pen.' I strive to give students the tools they need to navigate a world full of information with a skeptical eye and a strong voice.

Additional biographical information

I started this TPT page because I realized that 'one-size-fits-all' curriculum rarely fits the modern teenager. My mission is to create resources that bridge the gap between academic rigor and student interest. I believe that ELA should empower students to find their own voices while mastering the standards they need for the future.
