I have created this I have, who has activity... to review and reinforce the six rules I taught on multi-syllabic word decoding. The six rules I taught were c+le, vce, closed and open syllables, r controlled and double vowel syllables. I variate the game by having the kids not only read the word but tell me which of the six rules the word belongs to.

I created these 3 phonics assessments to drive my instruction as a Reading RtI teacher and to present data to the students regular classroom teacher. There are 3 different assessments, one to use each semester. These assessments include a teacher assessment sheet and a student reading sheet. The assessments Include phonemic awareness; initial sound, final sound and medial sound, cvc's, cvce's, long vowel combinations, beginning consonant blends, ending consonant blends, consonant digraphs, dipt
