Phonics & Phonological Awareness, Reading, Science of Reading
This engaging game is perfect for small group or individual practice of sounding out CVC nonsense words. Students will draw a card, read the word, and keep the card if they read it correctly. Be careful not to draw a ZAP card though or you will have to put all your cards back in the pile! Just print, laminate, cut, and play!
This card is a helpful tool when teaching students ending punctuation. Simply print each student a card and teach students to look at the first word of a sentence to identify the sentence type. If the first word of the sentence is on the question mark card, then they will put a question mark at the end of the sentence. If the first word of the sentence is not on the question card, then it will likely need a period at the end. Using this card helps students become familiar and more automatic
This engaging game is the perfect way to practice reading decodable cvcc ending blend nonsense words with a small group. Just print, laminate, cut apart, and play!
