I'd say that my teaching style is rooted in a multi-sensory, structured approach that helps every child connect with language in meaningful ways. I believe that early literacy instruction should be both systematic and joyful — blending movement, touch, sound, and sight to make reading come alive. Drawing on my Orton-Gillingham training and 20+ years in K–2 classrooms, I design lessons and materials that meet students where they are, celebrate their progress, and build the confidence that leads to lifelong reading success.
