The Real McCoy Math Lessons

Present an informed lecture to your students at the start of the unit by using a powerpoint that is informed and detailed and within standards for VA SOL 7.7. It goes along with the free download that is available in my store. Students will follow along with the guided notes and allow themselves to annotate on the note sheet.

Allow your students to develop a strong sense of learning with the guided notes of transformations. Slideshow accompanies and follows along with the transformations on the sheet. Transformations cover translation and reflection according to the VA standards 7.7.

Use this product to enhance your students ability to read statistical data and find the mean, median, mode, and range when given data. This works best for small group instruction and/or learning centers.

Scavenger hunt is aligned with VA SOL 7.5 and allows students to work through the problems using a QR code Reader. Students will start at one station and solve the practical problems for each QR Code. No answer key is needed as they will end the scavenger hunt right back where they started! In this activity you will receive a set of questions that are geared towards reviewing areas for the VA Math 7 SOL. If your students are anything like mine, they definitely cannot go a full block without talking about Fortnite. This powerpoint gives rules to a game designed to go with the other products in my store. You can certainly adapt this any math game you'd like. This activity is designed to allow students to work together in small group instruction in to solve problems relating to volume and surface area of rectangular prisms and cylinders. It is aligned to the VA SOL 7.4 standards. A recording sheet is also provided for the students to record their answers.
