Make learning multiples fun and interactive with this hands-on cut-and-paste maths activity! Perfect for reinforcing multiplication concepts, this resource encourages learners to think critically while actively engaging with numbers. Children begin by cutting out a variety of colourful, numbered fish. They then sort and paste each fish into the correct fish tank according to its multiples. For example, a fish showing the number 18 can be placed in both the multiples of 2 and multiples of 3 tanks

This resource introduces sharing (basic division) in a very simple and practical way. There are worksheet exercises to practice sharing – there is an option of having division sums to complete or doing the same exercise without the sums. There are A4 pages to be copied as aids for hands-on practice: items (sweets, cookies, etc.) to cut out and physically share,  plates on which to put the items and cards of children with whom to share. These two pages are a simple way of practising and/or assessing the learners' knowledge of the 3 x table. It can be used as a classwork activity, an assessment activity or sent as a homework activity. For learners who are only starting to learn their 3x table, these activities can be used with a page that has the 3x table for them to look at and find the answers.

These pages contain pyramids with number clues and missing numbers. Learners need to work out the calculations to get the missing numbers. Accuracy is key. It is a good exercise to assess calculation accuracy and it is very easy marking.
