This fun and exciting lab allows students to work in teams of 3 or 4 to determine how changing the distance effects how a drop of blood falls. Gummy Bear Graphing Lab

This very fun lab gives students practice with creating a hypothesis as well as determining variables in an experiment. Then students must convert their data into a graph. Practice collecting data, measuring and analyzing data is also accomplished. Be sure to test your brand of gummy bears first...some will just dissolve. You don't want those. Nature of Science Slime Lab

This lab drives home the importance of accurate record keeping, repetition & replication. Using inexpensive ingredients: borax, water, and white glue students will make slime. Students work in teams of 3-4, acting as a development team, this lab shows students a real-world application. Students will answer critical thinking lab questions after activity is completed.
