This poetry notebook was designed to go with Houghton Mifflin Journey's Kindergarten curriculum. It is meant to go in the same letter order as Journeys and uses poems mostly found in the curriculum (although not in order). I had to bring in a few traditional ones in order to complete each let

This is lowercase alphabet practice merging Handwriting Without Tears and Zaner Bloser techniques. This file includes three sheets. The first one is a fill in the missing letter page. This is a Dictionary that includes most 2nd grade Journeys spelling and high frequency words. There are spaces on most pages to add your own (except S but my students made room). There is a mistake on the e page (a stand alone e) and the order for copying isn't quite right. I am going to leave this at the low price of $3 until I can get those things fixed. I found it easy to cut and paste pages back to back for a hard copy original.

This is a homework program that uses choices. It is editable for you to tailor to your curriculum. It is simple and easy to keep up with. I ask my students to read 10 min. and then chose 10 min. or either word work or math facts. This file includes a parent signature page, a page or word work ideas and a page of math fact ideas. This file references using spellingcity.com, xtramath.com, and ixl.com (a subsricption program). You can add or delete any programs that do not work for you.
