Teaching style

My teaching style is centered around creating a warm, supportive, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable being themselves. I believe learning should be hands-on, meaningful, and fun, so I incorporate interactive and tangible activities whenever possible. I strive to make learning student-led, allowing students to explore, make choices, and take an active role in their growth. I love building lessons and activities around individual interests—whether that means dinosaurs, cars, or anything in between—because that’s when real engagement happens!

My own education history

I began my journey in special education as a paraprofessional before earning my teaching degree. Since becoming a certified teacher, I’ve taught in elementary self-contained classrooms, including behavior and life skills settings.
