This document goes along with the science presentation slides that are also in my store. Your students can choose from any of the possible topics, or choose their own. The second two pages are research pages for the information that the students should have in their slideshow!
This is blank powerpoint presentation where students can do research about any science topic and put that research here. Students can use this to present their research to the class or you can use it as an assessment!
These are great worksheets for students to practice their learning of how to solve one step inequalities with addition and subtraction. There are also two inequality races where students can work in groups to solve the problems the fastest, get them checked by the teacher, then get a final stamp when their group wins! The inequalities only have addition and subtraction in them, and are only whole numbers. The answer key to each worksheet is included for the teacher!
This resource is a set of 16 task cards that are all about finding the mean, median, mode and range of a set of data! There are four sets of data, that each have 4 task cards with them. Each task card is an indiviaual problem to solve! These could be great for a whole class activity or independent practice option!
This is a great unit review for Reveal maths unit 9: adding and subtracting fractions! It goes through each of the main elements from the unit with several examples. There is also an answer key attached! You could give this as homework or do as a class review!

These are individual multiplication practice pages for your students to practice their multiples of 1 - 10! The pages include all of the multiplication facts for the main factor, a grouping picture and a number to fill with the products!
This product is two colorful multiplication brochures. The first brochure helps students remember how to multiply by 0, 1, 2, 5, and 10. Each number has a spot on the brochure with tips on how to multiply and examples. The second brochure is for the students to practice using their multplication skills and multiply by 0, 1, 2, 5, and 10.
This resource has the students adding together 3 digit numbers, using the partial product method. The studnts will need to take apart each addend based on their expanded form place value and add together those place values. They will then add together those 3 numbers to answer the equation. These two pages can be used to take notes on the different types of figurative language. There are 8 figurative language elements on this worksheet; alliteration, hyperbole, idiom, metaphor, onomatopoeia, personification, oxymoron and simile. You can either just give the students the definitions and examples or you can pair this worksheet with a video!
These two pages are all about telling the difference between fact and fiction. On the first page the students will have to read sentences and determine if they are fact or fiction. They will need to sort these sentences out. On the second page the students will need to write 3 sentences that are facts and three sentences that are fiction. This resource tests the students knowledge of how to determine the difference between fact and fiction as well as writing their own fact and fiction sentences

This worksheet is a simple quiz to test students knowledge of the three types of communities. The students will have to identify what the types of communities look like and what two things you would hear in that community are! This could be done as a whole class or individually!

This worksheet is great to use when you are wanting students to learn how to ask and answer questions about a text. They will read the short passage about penguins. They will then either answer one of the questions, or ask a question that can be answered by the informaiton given. This is great in small groups or can be used for individual work!
