Teaching style

Me gusta enseñar español en contexto y por medio de situaciones conectadas con las vidas de mis estudiantes para hacer su aprendizaje tan significativo como sea posible. Para mí es muy importante que los estudiantes se sientan cómodos en su proceso de aprendizaje mientras aprenden con recursos auténticos conectados con sus vidas, sus empleos y su personalidad. También me parece importante incluir el componente cultural en mis clases y mostrarle a mis estudiantes lo rica y variada que es la cultura latinoamericana.

Tengo estudios de pregrado en educación en lenguas extranjeras (inglés y francés) y una especialización en enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera.

Additional biographical information

Nací en el norte de Colombia junto al Mar Caribe, pero ahora vivo cerca de las montañas de los Andes en el sur de Chile. Ser migrante me ha enseñado mucho sobre mi identidad como latina y mi lengua materna.
