Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in a hands-on, interactive approach that prioritizes active engagement and real-world connections. I believe students learn best when they can touch, manipulate, and experience the concepts being taught—especially learners with autism and other diverse needs. Whether it’s through sensory-based activities, visual supports, or task-based centers, I strive to make learning tangible and meaningful. This approach not only keeps students motivated but also helps bridge abstract ideas with concrete understanding, fostering both independence and confidence in the classroom.

My own education history

I graduated with my B.A.Ed. degree in Special Education in 2018, my M.Ed. degree in Special Education in 2019, and my Ed.S. degree in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders in 2021. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. degree in Education Administration P-12 and plan to graduate in 2026.
