The Sped Zone

I used this in my Grade 8 Human Geography class as a culminating task for our first unit on population patterns. For this assignment, students are to create their own models of a city or town taking into consideration everything they learned in the unit. Students are to consider things like urban land use conflict as well as label everything in their model and create their own legend. My kids thoroughly enjoyed this project as I am sure yours will.
