The Sprouting Vine

With over 15 years in the field of education, I’ve worn many hats. I’ve worked as a teacher’s aide for Kindergarten through second grade, taught Kindergarten for a year, and spent eight wonderful years as a Pre-K teacher. My roles have also included elementary-grade tutoring, working as a special education teacher’s aide, and serving as an instructional designer. Through all these experiences, I’ve gained a deep understanding of how to create resources that meet students where they are and help them thrive.

I embrace a hybrid teaching style because I believe every student is unique. By blending instructional approaches, I can adapt to the subject matter and address the diverse needs of learners. Whether it's hands-on, visual, or exploratory learning, my goal is to make education accessible, meaningful, and fun for everyone.

I hold an Associate's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology. This foundation has allowed me to combine the science of learning with my passion for teaching. On the creative side, I’m also a self-taught digital artist, which allows me to craft visually engaging and imaginative resources.

Children have been at the heart of my work for more than eight years, starting with my time as a Pre-K teacher. I’ve always believed that learning should be fun because when kids enjoy the process, they’re more likely to engage deeply and retain what they learn. Drawing from my background in psychology and education, I create resources that are both enjoyable and effective, helping students develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
