About the store
I have been an educator for 23 years. My passion for teaching has never waned. I taught 13 years in the inner-city of Los Angeles, where I taught many grade levels, was a curriculum coach, administrator, and director. All of my students were considered English language learners or Standard English learners. My true heart was in the areas of math and science, now STEM/STEAM. I truly believe that STEM education provides experiences and opportunities for all students to be successful. I have been teaching in higher education teacher preparation programs and other education programs for 14 years, 10 being in a full-time capacity. I am currently a professor and lead of math and science methods courses in the teacher credentialing programs, and manage and develop the STEM undergraduate courses. I find great pleasure in introducing pre-service teachers to STEM and helping spark their love and enjoyment for math and science.
