"When I Grow Up" story and workbook emphasize values that are important to the child while thinking about careers. It is a low-pressure unit that doesn't require kids to decide what job they will want (it is way too soon!). It re-programs thinking about what activities are exciting now (creative, active, helping) and matches careers in that casual, fun way. Workbook Highlight: One task is listing your shared values for decision-making. This is a stronger classroom management tool than a list

We created the "Happy Hands" rhyming inclusive story and workbook because hand hygiene precaution is always worth repeating. Students' observations and data around hand hygiene are then used to calculate their class' percentage of success with hand-washing, and then they visualize this percentage in a 100-square grid. All the numeracy and science skills complement the ongoing ELA skills, like finding evidence inside a story, handwriting, and more. Science, numeracy, and ELA go so well together!
