The Teaching Machine

This is an activity where students put to use their knowledge of adding and subtracting decimals. Give each student the handout and place the clothing items with prices up around the room. Students will be able to "shop" for what they want and then have to conquer financial obstacles in order to finalize their purchase.

This project based learning opportunity lets students explore the world digitally and select a region they want to learn more about. Through activities and research, students work to put together a presentation to present to classmates on their region and the history behind it.

This project-based learning opportunity was designed to give students a choice to express their creativity on the topic of sustainability. Students are able to express their creativity while digging in depth about sustainability measures in place.
