This is my 19th year of teaching. I taught third grade for over 12 years, and I have more than 6 years experience with PreK-8th Special Education in the classroom as well as experience as a director of special services.

Teaching style

I believe that we must be creative in our approach in teaching our students these days. Whether it be, creating exciting math/reading games, finding innovative new teaching approaches, teaching and reteaching, we have a tough job that I absolutely feel blessed to have.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My second year of teaching, I was nominated for Teacher of the Year. Although, I didn't win, I felt honored to be nominated with such great teachers.
