Additional biographical information

I am an ELA teacher in Salt Lake City, Utah. And every single one of my students is an English learner whose languages range from Spanish to Kinywarwanda. The amount of languages my students speak is five! I love it, but it can be a challenge in an ELA class. Despite the challenge, I believe my ELD students deserve the same exposure and engagement with texts and literature in traditional ELA classes. That's why my curriculum includes differentiated instruction through the intentional use of technology. I live with my bearded husband, three wildly adorable babies, and our Golden-doodle, Gatsby.
